J. Spirit Catcher
The Spirit Catcher, owned by the MacLaren Art Centre, is located on Barrie's waterfront.
Public art adds so much to our community and public spaces, increasing community engagement, fostering social connections, connecting us to our downtown and waterfront, to people, and even to ourselves. Many researchers have studied the positive impacts of public art on human and community health.
By purchasing this print, you are also giving back to the children and youth in our community who are struggling with mental health during this time.
Thank you to the MacLaren Art Centre for bringing so much art, public art, and culture into our community.

The pandemic has been challenging for many not-for-profit organizations. I have donated for several years to New Path and I was looking for a creative way to be able to donate again this year.
Children are the forgotten voices of the pandemic. We have seen a devastating impact on the mental health of many children and youth, not only in our community but across the world during the past year.
Your purchase of this print will help raise funds to help the 1 in 5 children or youth struggling with mental health during this time.
