D. Kempenfelt Bay
This image is from a personal conceptual portrait series. My vision was to create a fine art portrait series that captured a feeling of the fleeting innocence of childhood, the pure joy of play, and the calmness that the water brings to our souls and being.
I love photographing kids. Kids are amazing little people full of energy and life and a true sense of the freedom that comes by living in the moment. My intention with this portrait series was to evoke a sense of nostalgia. At the lake, we remember ourselves.
It is my hope that this impressionistic photograph of Kempenfelt Bay will bring a sense of calm and peace into your home. By purchasing this print, you are also giving back to the children and youth in our community who are struggling with mental health during this time.

The pandemic has been challenging for many not-for-profit organizations. I have donated for several years to New Path and I was looking for a creative way to be able to donate again this year.
Children are the forgotten voices of the pandemic. We have seen a devastating impact on the mental health of many children and youth, not only in our community but across the world during the past year.
Your purchase of this print will help raise funds to help the 1 in 5 children or youth struggling with mental health during this time.
